From Sketch to Silk
At Alba LAZARÍ, design is not conceived as an industrial process, but as a deliberate alchemy. Each creation originates in the studio in Cangas (Galicia, Spain). Through sketches in pencil, marker, or watercolour, the original motifs take their first shape before being translated and refined in the digital realm. This continuous dialogue between the warmth of the hand-drawn stroke and technological precision ensures that each garment is an authentic work of wearable art. Every stage of development is meticulously overseen to guarantee that the sophistication of the materials never loses the artistic intention that defines the brand.

The brand’s greatest innovation lies in its absolute mastery of the creative process. Standard catalogue textiles are eschewed in favour of proprietary prints developed upon meticulously curated raw materials.
For the iconic scarves, silk satin and silk twill of the finest calibre are selected. The womenswear and menswear collections come to life through silk twill and 100% natural cottons in exquisite voile, poplin, and sateen finishes. Meanwhile, wraps and stoles are realised in 100% pure wool and sublime blends of baby alpaca and silk.
Furthermore, reflecting a steadfast commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship, GRS-certified recycled polyester is selectively incorporated for specific garments, consistently guaranteeing exceptional drape, hand-feel, and durability.

Silk with Provenance
The iconic scarves come to life in Macclesfield (Great Britain), the historic cradle of silk. Here, the brand collaborates with a heritage mill that intertwines its profound artisanal legacy with the vanguard of digital printing. Furthermore, the printing of exclusive pieces and interior textiles is entrusted to institutions of undisputed prestige, such as The Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.
Tailoring and Domestic Craftsmanship
The printing of silk twill is entrusted to a third-generation family-run mill in Barcelona, while the womenswear line is tailored in a specialist atelier in A Coruña (Galicia). Men’s cotton shirting takes shape in Toledo, underpinned by more than 35 years of bespoke expertise. Meanwhile, GRS-certified recycled textiles are printed in Bizkaia.
Handbags and Small Goods
The handbag and accessories collection is born of an intimate collaboration with an atelier in Valencia. Here, expert hands apply time-honoured craft to every design, seamlessly marrying the noble character of natural leather with exclusive textiles to give structure to shopper bags, clutches, and wallets—where the signature print takes absolute centre stage.

Through refined upcycling techniques and in partnership with an Indian-heritage family atelier—a trusted supplier to prestigious institutions such as the Royal Opera House and The Met—all textile offcuts are transformed into new functional creations, notably exclusive eyewear cases. This process not only eliminates waste, but actively champions the employment and empowerment of female artisan communities, completing a circle of positive impact.
