THE FOUNDER

ALBA RODAL: VISION AND LEGACY

While Alba LAZARI is today synonymous with exclusivity in signature design, the brand’s trajectory did not emerge from following market trends, but from cultivating an absolute devotion to the artistic disciplines. Driven by a powerful family legacy with Italian roots established in Galicia for generations, the maison’s vision was educated from the outset in the constant pursuit of excellence. This living heritage, which gives the brand its name—LAZARI—laid the foundations for a transparent philosophy: the absolute rejection of mass-market production in order to offer only what is truly exceptional.

The creator’s journey was consolidated through a solid academic background, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and specialising in Textile Technology and Design. This multidisciplinary training allows her to approach design from its very roots, analysing everything from the internal structure of the fibre to the psychology of colour. Over time, attaining a Master’s Degree in Sustainability for the Fashion Industry, alongside the LVMH Certification in Creation, Brand Identity, Premium Retail, and Customer Experience, endowed the brand with a holistic perspective, where environmental respect, brand identity, and customer experience coexist in perfect balance.

The desire to achieve a non-negotiable standard led the founder to spend a prominent professional chapter of over a decade in the United Kingdom. It was there, immersed in the rigour of the high-end sector and contributing to the product narrative for houses of the stature of Louis Vuitton and Farfetch, where her profound vision of the luxury market was forged. The most predictable path would have been to establish her boutique in a major European capital; however, the brand’s true disruption was the return to its origins, choosing her hometown of Cangas, Galicia, as the headquarters for her private Textile Studio-Showroom.

SAVOIR-FAIRE: CRAFTSMANSHIP AND MASTERY

Today, the design studio operates as a creative oasis, breathing the atmosphere of the finest boutiques in London or Milan. Far removed from fast fashion, the creative process retains absolute control over every project, dedicating months of work to each piece—from the initial pencil sketch to the printing and final finishing.

By entrusting the fabrication to the expert hands of small, family-run ateliers and local artisans across Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom, the house actively safeguards traditional manufacturing heritage. Utilising avant-garde tools such as 3D digital design to optimise resources, and exclusively releasing Limited Edition collections crafted from the highest quality European textiles, each creation becomes a portable work of art; a unique design meticulously conceived to last a lifetime.
